Help not wanted

first you brought the darkness

from outside into our house

but I turned it into a sunshine

and continued smiling

then you tried hard to make sure

the darkness found its way

into my heart

by poisoning his mind

you just didn´t know that the darkness

has been my friend since I was born

the darkness is on my side and always will be

I am not afraid of the dark

I wrote this poem in 2007, shortly after I met Guy (my husband) in person for the first time.

my way of missing you?

The emptiness

that always made me wonder

was it my heart

waiting just for you?

decided to surprise me
